The sequel to Beyond Good & Evil, almost unequivocally one of the most missed games of the last generation, has been in production for over a year according to the main lead. Ubisoft has yet to say anything about it though.

For a time of peace on earth, theres going to be a lot of stress and killing around this Christmas. Just think about this winters biggest games. Whether its COD4s visceral gunfire tearing apart wall and limb alike, the bloody back-stabbing business of the always-hounded Altair, or Kane and Lynch just being plain old sociopathic, the jovial festival of light and wonder really is looking like a quite brutal one this year.

Ubisoft has just officially confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is on the way at it's UbiDays event in Paris.
It was a brief unveiling, giving away no gameplay specifics or even which platforms it's headed to, Ubi only showing a short trailer of series heroine Jade in an open desert doing... nothing much.

In what must be the strangest turn of events for all games media, GamesRadar engaged in a futile display of shark-related coverage to coincide with the annual hysteria that surrounds The Discovery Channel's Shark Week. The denizens of underwater dystopia Rapture have always had it tough without having to worry about some downed pilot coming in to inject mysterious liquid in his wrists so he can shoot bees at their neighbors. The GamesRadar interns have seized upon this idea and crafted another marvelous short film, poking fun at what really goes on in BioShocks city of artists - not to mention what really gets the Big Daddy angry. An overwhelming majority of gamers are male, so it makes perfect sense for every marketing team in the world to target their software at young guys. And what do all men ages 18 to one zillion love? Girls, gore and big loud machines. If they could make a game about a firefighting bikini squad that hunts down zombies in a decked-out sex/fire truck, world peace would be declared.
