The core subject of this uncomfortable mix of pseudo-documentary and grimy urban drama is a bunch of Athens street kids. Largely drawn from the immigrant Russian community, these no-hopers sell themselves as rent boys and pimps in order to scrabble together enough cash for sex and drugs.

It should be a good starting point for something pretty hard-hitting drama... If Giannaris had the slightest idea of what to do with character or plot. Falling back on nicking visuals from his presumably well-worn video of Taxi Driver isn't enough, and the stories drown in a sea of ham-fisted staccato cutting and dreary neon. A painful experience, both intentionally and unintentionally.
