None that I can think of.
Sure, some of them took longer for me too play, such as Phantasy Star, which I didn't play until the Sega Genesis Collection on PS2, but have since tracked down the original Genesis carts.

I want to say Final Fantasy, but I actually played two of those, so I guess it doesn't count.
The only popular series I've never played are the Kirby games.
