Hey gang! Eric here. I'm about to post a story explaining the rules of a contest we're having, but I thought I'd recreate it here because this is where the entries are gonig to be posted.
Here's the boring legal stuff. Basically, you have to be 18 or older and living in the part of the US that isn't Rhode Island. And you cannot be a platypus.
Contest Rules
No purchase is necessary to win and as a contestant you have not yet won. The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. The sponsor of the contest is Future US, Inc. (Â?Future USÂ?), 4000 Shoreline Court, Suite 400, South San Francisco, CA 94080). Future US cannot be responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. The winners will be determined by a random drawing of all valid entries and the decision of Future US shall be final. You may obtain the name of the winners by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the address above. This contest is open to residents of the United States only. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. If a winner is a minor, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian, who is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes. If a winner is a minor, that winner must also provide a signed parental or guardian consent form, provided by the sponsor, within 7 days of notification attempt. Failure of the minor to return the guardian consent form will result in the forfeiture prize and selection of an alternate winner, who will be chosen through a random drawing from the remaining eligible entries. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. The winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance within seven days of receipt; failure to do so upon request will result in forfeiture of the prize. By acceptance of the prize, the winner agrees to the use of his or her name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Future US is not responsible for any damages or expenses that winners might incur as a result of this contest or the receipt of any prize. The winner is responsible for paying any income taxes on the value of the prize received. Void in Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.
And now for the specific rules of this exact contest:
1. Go buy or rent the Blu-ray disc version of Dead Space: Downfall. ItÂ?s the animated prequel to publisher Electronic ArtsÂ? chilling new survival horror game Dead Space, which you should also play because it rocks and you can stomp the heads off zombies.
2. Watch it. Then dig around the disc, including menus and bonus bits, until you find easter eggs that reveal four Dead Space cheat codes Â? two for 360 and two for PS3. Note: These are NOT the same codes as the ones hidden on the regular DVD. These are different. And theyÂ?re a bastard to find.
3. Take pictures of your TV screen showing the codes - all four of them - and post them in this exact forum thread. DonÂ?t say where they are though. You donÂ?t want to spoil it for the other folks.
4. Go to www.anchorbayentertainment.com and start picking out DVDs.
ThatÂ?s it! The first person to correctly reveal all four codes will get a whopping stack of his/her choice of 15 single DVDs from the Anchor Bay lineup (www.anchorbayentertainment.com). The second and third people to post the codes (using your own pics) will find themselves bequeathed with their choice of 5 DVDs from Anchor Bay. If you happen to be one of those people, weÂ?ll contact you for your DVD choices and mailing address.

i dont have a blu-ray disc player of any sort.
:(
and that site has tons of shitty movies.
if it was 15 video games, THEN id really try to do this.

Ugh... no one at GR made any money on this contest. It was just something we did to reward users without paying for prizes ourselves (which we also do.) But thanks for finding the negative side of 15 free DVDs you could've won with a rental and a Google search.

btw i was sent 2 copies of season 11 of south park, you know why?

No idea, this was a rare instance where I didn't ship the prizes out myself. But I'll have to have you arrested if you gave that extra copy to minor.
I'm sorry, but schwartz has taken all the fun out of contests/free stuff. I trust you'll do the right thing and turn yourself in JM.

Dead God this is b*tchin tough. How are we supposed to find these things? I've been pushing buttons like a mad man on my friend's PS3 and I still can't find anything. What am I supposed to be looking for?!?!
I'm sitting here with a pad of paper full of Dead Space symbols and I can't make heads or tails of anything. Can you guys give tips?
Sigh... back to work.

Best of luck to you bro. At this point in the game, I don't care about winning 15 dvds, since I have netflix, I just want to know where the hell this code is located. I'm going to guess that it is 1 billion times easier to find on a PC than a PS3. If you want to know any of the methods I've tried so far just let me know.
