Question #1 Are you a liar

WhatÂ?s the lamest excuse/biggest lie youÂ?ve ever told just to play games. DonÂ?t pretend you havenÂ?t done it! WeÂ?ve all resorted to absurd acts of deception for nothing more than a little playtime. Doesn't make you a bad person...
We came clean with ours, now tell us yours. The more embarrassing the game, the better.

After having an inner ear infection due to an allergic reaction to a new blanket, I faked being sick for two days after actually healing all up, just so I could finish Assassin's Creed. the shame....

Sorry.....it's never happened. If I want to be left alone to go play Siren, I'm gonna tell people to leave me alone so I can go play Siren.
I'm ashamed of nothing I do.

Weirdly enough, i've never had to tell a lie about that. I'll tell one right now, just so I can contribute to the thread.

Really?! C'mon, some things you have to fib your way through. Otherwise how would I be able to justify getting that Fuzion Frenzy Achievement instead of attending my grandmother's funeral?
Oh and Daikatana, lulz

I once claimed that the replacement tire was broken, just so I didn't have to fix my mother's tire and could go back to play BF:BC

I would bring a portable DVD player in the bathroom and sit in there for 1+ hours and say I was sick so I could skip school and play my Breakdown.

Lol, well I decided the night before that I was gonna fake sick, because I REALLY wanted to play Chrono Cross. And I pulled it off horribly, obviously because I was only in sixth grade, and my mom decided I was well enough to go to school. HOWEVER, it ended up being 9/11 that day, so she decided it would be safe for me to stay home from school and I was "allegedly" feeling a little sick anyway. I had no idea what the World Trade Center was, so I was just like Sweet!!!!

I gotta side with EvoAnubis on this. If I feel like playing a little longer the world can pretty much go to hell. However, I do my best to play addictive games when I know I have free time. Perfect example: I'm going to buy Mass Effect right now because its the start of a long weekend.
My friend on the other hand stayed home on the day of our English Lit paper a couple of years ago to play Burnout 3. I was gonna stay back too but my conscience got the better of me and I managed to race to class in a record 4 minutes. I didn't know my old vespa had it in it.

Really. Then again, once must consider that I've wiped things from the bottom of my boot that mean more to me than other peoples' opinion about Yours Truly.

Let's see in 4th grade my brother and I were truly truants... We missed so many days of school!! We were terrible...
One day to get out my brother told the school (something I didn't find out til later) our sister was in a car accident and died and we had to attend her funeral...If I knew he was going to say that, I would had nothing to do with it...anyway...
Later that day we were @ home playing Super Mario Bros 3 (although we weren't supposed to be playing b/c we were grounded) we snuck the system back into our room, and played all day...until I heard a car door close and I looked out the window and saw my dad walking towards the house!! We both freaked out but we were screwed...the next 3 hours were the most intense yet quiet moments of our life(s)
Nothing was said until our dad said how disappointed he was in us and yada yada yada... Needless to say we never skipped school again...at least that year...

Out of all the games I could have faked being sick to play a new game I choose to lie about it when kingdom hearts 2 came out. Yes it's a fun game but it's kinda imbarising, I stayed home for THIS!
