If you've downloaded Bionic Commando Rearmed on PSN or XBLA (and you should have), you can enter to win BCR-related goodies like a gig USB stick and t-shirt with an exploding head!
To enter, simply put in your platform-specific code to unlock the secret training room and attempt to get the best score. There are already people posting results on Live, but to be eligible for the prizes you need to actually post in THIS THREAD.
XBLA Code:
At title screen: Right-Bumper, Y, X, X, Up, Down, Left-Bumper, Left-Bumper, Up, Down, Start
PSN Code:
At title screen: R1, Triangle, Square, Square, Up, Down, L1, L1, Up, Down, Start
I'll post pics of said prizes soon so you can visualize yourself wearing a white shirt with "Pop Goes the Dictator" emblazoned along the chest.

Posting in this thread. I'm in first place right now on XBLA, and god DAMN if it wasn't difficult as HELL to get that time.
Actually, I was in first place this morning, I should probably log on to see if I'm still leading the pack. If I'm not, I REALLY doubt I can get a better time than that.

Is anyone else trying for a best time on this level? I think my best is 10.47 - a whole tenth of a second ahead of the second place - but if someone beats mine, I REALLY don't think I can do any better. I've just been playing it a few times here and there to see if I can beat my time, but I'm not even coming close. It took me a good 100 tries to even get to the top, then another 200 perfecting my strategy. I was up until 2am thursday night, and I had to work at 6am. Needless to say, I didn't get a whole lot accomplished on friday, and I drank a hell of a lot of coffee.
I haven't played the main game a whole lot, and I've tried a handful of challenges - I'm trying to focus on geometry wars 2 right now, my best pacifism score is like 74 million right now.
I wonder if the PS3 controls are better? I can't stand the stupid D-Pad on the Xbox controller - but analog control for this is no better...

I agree, the 360 d-pad is awful. I'd say PS3 players have a slight advantage.

I'd love to try it on ps3, to see if I can actually beat my time. For the record, I SUCK at all the other levels. Something with this one just really clicked - I watched a video of some guy playing through the 'final' challenge level, and my head asploded. I couldn't possibly finish that level.
I need to try the IGN one too. I hear it's not as good....

I beat the game and all of the challenges with the analog stick and no problem :)
The IGN challenge room is not very good, the Eurogamer room is cool

Dammit... I got 1st on PSN a week ago and I didn't even know there was a contest!!
I practiced it a few times and eventually got it, but the damn game locked up when I tried to save my score. I tried it again and managed to get it in 6 tries (33%). I beat the guy in 2nd by a whopping .07 seconds!!
It was a blur, but I remembered hitting the buttons like a gamer possessed. That was the cleanest run on any room I'd ever done.
Even if I'm late to this party, thanks for the Challenge G.R.

I got bumped to 2nd place on XBox live. I don't think I can top that score though - if I figure out how to record my play through the level, I'll post a video on how I complete it.
