Hey guys, we just posted a feature looking at the last twenty years of music-based gamery.

http://www.gamesradar.com/f/the-history-of-music-games/a-2008060393437857045

It's vast, it's long, it's informative and yes, it rocks. Well anyway, hope ya'll enjoy. What are some of your favorite music-based games? Hell, what would you like to see in a music game? We've noticed some threads about Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band. What do you guys think?

Eh? I clicked on the link and got this...

Sorry, your request is invalid for the following reason:
No data was found for the given request.

Other than that, music-based gamery is great! Guitar Hero/Rock Band both made it big and are among my favorite games for music games. I've also enjoyed playing Dance-Dance Revolution with friends and kicking their asses. lolz.

Do you have any personal favorites?

List is not bad. I'm actually interested in that one that does the vector based stuff....The one on Steam sounds like something I'd like....Problem is, I don't buy stuff online >_> If it was free, I'd have grabbed it already >_>

I do plan to get Rock Band at some point....I wonder if they'll eventually release a version which includes all or most of the DLC? If I haven't gotten it by then, I'll pick up that version....

What about the game boy camera? that had a cool little sequencer in it, with proper synth controls and everything. I liked that.

Yes they will:

PS2/Wii only for now, and it's only 20 songs for $30. Horrible deal.
