I'm trying to piece together some of the tricker parts in Prime 3, and then provide the answers for those parts. One that comes up a lot is on Bryyo, where you're supposed to get across a large gap but can't. Turns out there's a small piece of rock you can bomb away and enter. This puzzle was all over the net the first night the game was release.
Any others? If you're stuck I might be able to help too. I ripped through it pretty quick though so it does tend to blur together if you don't take your time.

I don't need any help, but... Yay for me! I got past it without help! Don't mean to gloat, but I just feel good for being able to get past a "tricky" part of the game without help.

Which code? If it's the one that you need to type in to get through the door in the G.F.S. Olympus, you get the code from the computer across from the door. You need to scan the computer to gain access, too.

Any specific issues anyone's run into yet?
The biggest piece of advice I can offer as a blanket statement is to SCAN EVERYTHING. It can sometimes be tedious, yes, but that info also reveals bits of the plot, the way things work and usually the key to solving a puzzle. Every time you enter a new room, whip out the scanner and see what's what.
For those who played Prime and Echoes though, this is old news.

Not to mention that the scanner helps you get medals so you can buy stuff in the extras menu. Scan creatures to get red medals, and scan lore to get blue medals.

What part are you at? Did you get the missiles yet? I'm assuming you've already activated the cutscene where you meet the other hunters.

yea...and now im trying to get to her ship but theres like 3 doors blocking it...and then there is a like i dunno some heavy thing that wont let me get throught to open the door

Then you'll need the missiles. There should be a platform somewhere off to the side. Jump on there, and follow the series of platforms (which includes a small ship) until you come up to a door. Inside is the missile upgrade. Grab it, and you can blow up the debris blocking the panel that opens the door.

Can't tell you. I've been playing 3-4 hours, so far. At the moment (hidden because of possible spoiler, highlight to see), I just got the ship upgrade that lets your ship go on a bombing raid.

You mean the part I hid in my post? You don't get that upgrade until you go to the planet Bryyo. You'll have to get it to progress, anyway.

As the game wears on you'll get all kinds of new abilities, including calling your ship in for an air strike. That's another visor you already have - hold the minus button and move the cursor to the lower right, that's the "call ship" visor. Use it to ask your ship to land at newly found landing sites and eventually bomb the area or pick up cargo.
And don't worry about answering questions, in fact that's what I want this thread to be - people helping each other out in Prime 3.

Umm, yeag i just got done playing. I was at this part where the stupid computer kept messagaging me saying "We have discovered a pirate base camp; this could upgrade your ship." I don't know where to go...
