seriously, this is probably the best one in the series, and definitely my favorite. Why did it never get the popularity it deserved?

oh yes!! I've spent many hours with my friends playing on these lovely songs!! But I think that the graphics of Guitar Hero World Tour are better than this one.

Are you crazy? All during 2004, GH2 was advertised everywhere for PS2. It's also about to be announced a Platinum Hit on the 360 or whatever that award thing is.
It's just an old game, no one advertises old games. Check www.scorehero.com if you wanna chat with Guitar Hero/Rock Band fans.

I know. I liked GH3 and WT, but 2 was the best. It was before Harmonix and Red Octane got pushed out of the series and Act/Nev started milking it for all it's worth.

Guitar Hero 3 was my favorite one of the series. I sunk a good 100-200 hours at least.

Guitar Hero 3 sucked. Crappy songs minus a few.
Now Guitar Hero 2, that was when the whole "playing with plastic guitars" became cool. It was awesome.

If I had to choose I'd go with GH for that same reason but luckily I can have both. I can't wait till GH 5, it has many new things that are making RB: Beatles look dull in comparison. For me at least.

well GH2 isnt advertised because its an old game, where as back then when GH2 came out, it was advertised,and it is getting that Xbox360 award. It was also my first GH game and I love it, I still play along with GH3, Aerosmith and WT

Yeah, what would be the whole point of owning them if you don't play them. But that's just me. I actually want to try DJ hero to add another plastic instrument to my collection.
