I got COD2 today...

Yeah, I know. It's a bit late. But I thought, hey, you all talk about COD so I thought why not. I've never played COD in my life, so I got 2 for some reason. Besides, I love everything about World War II .. and it's in COD2.
Someone at GameStop said they aren't linked together story wise. Is that true? Is it like those games that every game is a new story line or something?
Fill me in guys. K?

CoD 2 has no relation MW2, thoguh they were made by Infinity Ward, some games in CoD are not, like WaW. CoD 2 is good, but not every CoD is linked together in storyline, every new game has a new story, but obviously a sequel carries the same story, like MW2.
I hope you understand what im talking about.

wull, i think its real battles in WW2, so all the CODs set in WW2 are related, but the characters are different. the 2 modern warfares are linked.

@Boxcat - I wanted to get World At War .. but it's a bit pricey right now. I like it for the nazi zombies that I heard is in it, lol. Maybe next time.
@Felix - that's what the guy at GameStop kinda said. I guess they all have different stories? Kinda like GTA, all different cities and stuff... kinda, I guess.
I'm just getting bored of the games I play.. I like war flicks and have big interests in war, since I grew up in it with my family having some war history in it and grew up on dad's war flicks, lol. Everyone talks about COD being a great game, so I thought, why not try one.

Big Red One (I think it's PS2 only, idk) was the best
I was really let down with COD WAW. Nazi Zombies was fun, but it couldn't hold up against COD4

Your not just late, your very late. You could have just gotten the demo from Xbox home. One mission is enough for me, the game has bad graphics compared to any other kick-ass games.

Call of Duty 2 is a great world war 2 game. I considered the COD2 campaign superior to the World at War campaign.
Well Capt. Price is in COD2, which looks like the Capt. Price in COD4 Modern Warfare, which brings me up to the logical conclusion that The Capt Price in World War 2 is the Father of Capt Price in Modern Warfare, but the son grew his mustache out more than his father. RIP Capt Price Jr.

yeah modern warefare was a step up, im just really into WW2 its a very interesting and gritty war so world at war kinda pushed modern warefare down for me although MW2 does look pretty sweet
