I spend way too much time in /g/. I cannot believe that that this is an actual QotW. They are both PCs. You are asking which OS I prefer, not what computer I prefer. I prefer Windows over Mac OS, Because of the sheer amount of stuff available, and the factt that I don't have to hack the OS to get it to run on an average computer. F*ck GNU/Linux, BTW.

Why? Because of the pretentious people who buy Apple products, But don't know how to use them, or is it the people who know what they are doing with their OS?

PC, because I actually know something about computers.
Granted, I started on an Apple IIe and my dad had the original Macintosh, and my dad is staunchly Mac. Thanks to Macs I got to play Bungie games Pre-Halo. And Myst. And that was about it.
Anyways, once I started making my own comps, I had to go PC, there was no choice. WTF?
Moreover, why the **** did it take Mac so god damned long to adopt two buttons on their mice and laptops? Seriously, that's was just moronic. I used to buy 3rd party 2 button mice, but still, most of the software didn't support them. My desktop mouse has 5 buttons and I use everyone of them everyday (mostly for one-handed browsing). It's the same moronic mentality that prevents Sony from putting another analog nub on the PSP.
Come on Apple, WTF? Can't you help a guy get his jerk on?

Microsoft provides me with a wonderful system to play games on. Apple offers me a wonderful device to enjoy my music.
But I don't care about either of their computers. :\
I guess I'll side with Apple, because the iTouch is awesome.

PC since all the games are on that system. From a system spec perspective you get way better value than Mac.

I bought my first iBook in 2001 before Apple were the "in" thing. Hell, I don't even think iPods were out yet. I was a huge fan then just because the quality of the product was great. I still use it every now and then and it's never crashed once, and it's been over 8 years. Having said that, since iPods and iPhones became the thing to buy it seems that everyone that has one becomes a giant douche. I'm on a Dell now and I love it and I've never had a problem with it at all, or the Windows OS. I've even changed from a iPod to a Zune. So I'd have to say I'm a PC guy now.
