I just got a new HP dm3 laptop and it already has a problem. If I let the computer sleep for any prolonged amount of time and wake it up the touch pad becomes unresponsive. The only way I can get it to respond is by restarting the computer. I've checked online and people seem to be complaining about this problem but nobody has given any solutions. The computer is running windows 7 64 bit and it has an alps touchpad with the latest drivers. I would be grateful in anybody had any idea of how to go about fixing this.
