should i upgrade GPU?

i currently have two ATI Radeon 4850's in crossfire
i was looking the 5000 series cards and was wondering if i should wait to upgrade.

Unless you're willing to spend $400 on the 5870, you shouldn't upgrade just yet. You won't get a significant performance boost by upgrading to it from dual 4850's. Wait until the inevitable price drop, then upgrade.

Honestly, I don't think there's anything on the market that's going to give you a noticeable upgrade from two 4850's in crossfire.
There's upgrades, and there's noticeable upgrades.
If money is no object, then I'd still wait 6 months to a year to upgrade. And if you just want to upgrade, then also, hold on to your cash and wait for a price drop.

Exactly. Oh, and yoyoguy: after the price drop, see if the cards are cheap enough for you to get 2 of them. If so, that will give you a VERY significant boost.
