The first poster for next summer’s Men In Black III has arrived online, with Collider showing off an image snapped by an eagle-eyed reporter at his local multiplex.
The poster is made up of hundreds of MIBIII logos, which make up the image of Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent K. It might make you feel a little queasy, granted, but the picture is clear enough if you concentrate!
The decision to make Tommy Lee Jones a major figure of the early promo campaign is presumably down to the fact that he’s more readily associated with the series than newcomer Josh Brolin. In actual fact, Jones will be taking more of a backseat this time out, with Will Smith and Brolin shouldering the bulk of the screen time available.
MIBIII will largely be set in 1969, where Smith’s Agent J takes a time-travelling journey in order to meet up with the young Agent K (Brolin). Barry Sonnenfeld is back in the director’s chair, whilst Emma Thompson, Alice Eve and Jemaine Clement are amongst the supporting cast. The film will open in the UK on 25 May 2012.
Meanwhile, you can take a look at the first poster in all its glory below...
