The first official images of
The Hangover Part III
have emerged online, featuring a first look at the gang’s return to Las Vegas, where the adventure first started in a tiger-infested hotel room.
The image sees our four heroes striking an Abbey Road-esque pose against the Vegas backdrop, although Sin City will apparently be just one of many stops on their itinerary.
Meanwhile, director Todd Phillips has dropped a few tidbits on what we can expect from the third film, explaining that the focus will fall largely on everyone’s favourite beardy buffoon, Alan.
“ The Hangover Part 3 is Alan’s story,” says Phillips. ”He’s going through a crisis after the death of his father, [ and ] the Wolfpack is all he has.” Aww… that’s bromance for you.
Ken Jeong’s increasingly deranged Leslie Chow will also be making a return, seen in one of the new images brandishing a gun and a sheriff’s badge. “He’s darker than ever,” confirms Phillips, ominously.
Co-starring Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha, The Hangover Part 3 will open in the UK on 24 May 2013.
