Bryan Singer has released another new image from X-Men: Days Of Future Past on Twitter, this time giving us our first look at Halle Berry’s returning Storm.
The new image shows a fairly radical new look for the weather-controlling mutant, with a short, cropped hairstyle replacing the character’s signature flowing white locks.
Storm's hair got gradually shorter as the films progressed, so perhaps the new do is a hint that this'll be a slightly older version of the character, given that she’ll be appearing in the “future” sequences of the new film, set some way down the track.
The new film will see the younger incarnations of the X-Men given a warning from the future by their older selves, as they seek to divert a turn of events that sees all mutants rounded up and shunted into concentration camps.
Directed by Singer and co-starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Peter Dinklage and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 18 July 2014.
