2K has confirmed the final 23 roster members of WWE 2K17, taking the total numbers of wrestlers in the game to 136. That tally comprises 132 grapplers on disc and a further four as DLC (with more still to be announced).
Two much-wanted female stars are included on in the final 23: Asuka and Bayley, confirming what GR+ first revealed all of six weeks ago. We'd also already told you, by way of our 11 things we learned going hands-on with WWE 2K17 feature, that Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose were in the game - and now WWE has made it official.
The only real surprise among this week's announcements is Road Dogg, who returns to the series and thereby enables you to reunite him with tag team partner Billy Gunn as the New Age Outlaws.
Also confirmed are three versions of Mick Foley (Dude Love, Cactus Jack and Mankind), Big Boss Man, Buddy Murphy, Diesel, Dusty Rhodes and son Goldust, Diesel, Jack Swagger, Kane, Lex Luger, Luke Harper, Roman Reigns, Steve Austin, Undertaker and Vader.
John Cena has also appeared on some lists of characters announced this week, despite him actually having been confirmed for the game in June.
You can read profiles of all 132 wrestlers on-disc and the four DLC inclusions (Shinsuke Nakamura, Nia Jax, Apollo Crews and Goldberg) in our WWE 2K17 roster gallery.
Don't forget to check in on GR+'s extensive Summerslam coverage too - whether it's the nine things you may have missed from Summerslam, Kevin Owens telling us about wanting to beat up Toad from Mario Brothers, or Goldberg's admission that he fancies an in-ring comeback versus Seth Rollins or The Undertaker.
WWE 2K17 is released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on 11 October.
