F.E.A.R. 3 E3 trailer is a big improvement

F.E.A.R. 3's E3 trailer was released today, and to our relief, the live-action scenes which were present in previous trailers are no more. We're still unsure about the game's demonic buddy cop angle, but at least this trailer is full of exploding blood bags and not actors hopelessly trying to look serious.

    Yeah this trailer is far superior to the others they must have totally replaced the ad guys with new people. I won't be surprised if we never see those live action dudes again.

    Ok, I want this game to actually scare me, FEAR1 did it for me, FEAR2 started to lose some of the horror element for me personally. But I've got the storyline down up until number two so I sure as hell hope this doesn't go and screw that up/destroy the storyline. As for the two guys you see I have to say they look pretty unappealing, but if the devs get creative using the fact that there is two people working together, I think they can add some good mess with your head type of stuff.

    I hate those stupid spam bots (see comment above). Now we are going to have to create a new form of spam-block to counter-act this new epidemic. Just another reason why commenting on good sites is getting harder and harder. Anyways, F3AR looks nice. Might actually get this.

    ya, they blew this game already. I think the main protagonists (if they actually are) look unattractive and not as interesting as many other games' head honchos. I liked the first 2 were great, but i might skip this one...

    Agreed - I liked being alone except for the occasional backup. The buddy thing...even if it's a fragile alliance (haha kane and lynch reference), could detract from the game's atmosphere.

    i feel conflicted about this game. it seems like it'll be cool but at the same time it has radically changed from what the first fear was and always having a buddy around might subtract from the scariness, or maybe not.
