We’re really quite in love with the Crap Sonic series. The second we experienced the juxtaposition of Sonic’s unashamedly rubbish MSPaint running animation with the sweeping bombast of the Metal Gear music, we knew this one was going to hit us hard in the face with the comedy hammer. And across the next three episodes it just kept on hitting us, intent on smashing our skulls to a laughing bloody pulp with its increasingly inane lo-fi stupidity. Depending on your persuasion, Crap Sonic will either send you into fits of childish giggles, incite nothing but a blank stare, or thoroughly snap your mind. And that’s always the sign of good comedy.
