It’s happening, Wastelanders. Fallout 4 will be released on the HTC Vive in 2017. Pete Hines dropped the news during Bethesda’s E3 press conference that players will be able to walk in the shoes of their character in virtual reality some time next year. It's an exciting development for fans, many of whom already feel like they live in the Commonwealth after the vast number of hours they've logged in the latest game. Maybe we'll finally be able to pet Dogmeat!
Doom is also going to be getting a virtual reality version, although Hines did not announce a date.
