Faces of War breaks through

You can even take direct control of a soldier - best to select the squad leader - and charge into battle using the directional keys and an intuitive mouse-aim to riddle your enemies with gunfire. Or survey the action from the free-roaming camera and issue orders to your squad using the game's hugely in-depth command system.

Because you're fighting this war almost over the shoulders of your men, Faces of War has a frantic feel to it and when all hell breaks loose you'll need a cool head and some sly tactical cunning to come through these operations unscathed.

Faces of War launches its assault on the shops in late September and thisdemolets you get comfortable with the game's expansive options and controls before taking on the real thing.
