Hi I am a late comer to fable. Its now old hat, however, I'm addicted and can't put the game away for a long periods of time. I've solved nearly everything. The thing I can't solve and no one else around me knows is... what's up with the locked door in silver pines. Its below the cabin you journey to too give an invitation to a carpenter to help the occupants in driftwood

if you've played all the fables, loved them, collect them, want to keep them forever to play for the rest of your life, stop here. if you've played both, maybe one of the fables, read on. I know it's late, i know everyone's probably played and loved etc. But i just had to say that fable is not the same way i remembered it. Credit where credit's due, thumbs up for a new fable, but if you're like me, didn't particularly care, told some friends when it was coming out maybe, and thought about getting it on an impulse, maybe a "oh fable 3!" out of nowhere, just stop. I liked it, the gameplay, the upgrades etc, but it was just too darn short. And i know that once you've completed a fable game, pretty much all the spark has gone. So if you're considering buying it, and you aren't rolling in cash to buy a collectors edition, just rent it in the summer, and spend a good week on this game.

Fable 3 is a worthy 30 dollar game.. 60 not so much.. It's an amazing example of a game that withheld content (or maybe it was just rushed..). The clothing options are weak (although the existing ones do look good). The hairstyles are also weak.. (and the hair pack you can buy is goofy hair styles) The game is short.. like you could casually finish it in 3 days. And it's easy. I'd say that while it's worth one play through it's not something that has much replay value. So.. note to Lionhead, don't waste your budget on professional actors for voice overs? and punch molynuex for me.

btw, hwoever is complaining about the minor dog and glowing trail glich, you are an idiot. to fix the floating dog issue just interact with your dog. he probably needs attention anyways. as for the glowing trail, it activates to your dog. if it dissapears, usually your dog is way behind you sniffing treasure or a dig spot, so go open the chest or dig the hole, and the trail will come back. also, if you are running after the gold trail, make sure you run in the direction the trail BEGINS, this will initiate the next move the trail makes, therefore it does not dissapear anymore. the only signifigant issue is the lack of minnimap. baisically, when you zoom on a town to look at where you should be going, you can see the town but not where you are. it is like looking at a mall map and the "you are here" dot is missing. other than that ONE isure, amasing game.
