I have actually played on XBL with some girl gamers and some of them turn out to be a real big help. It doesnt matter if they are a girl or guy if they help and dont F***K UP there cool in my book

What a useless piece of crap this article is. Dont bother talking to real women, that would mean you are actually worth the words you type, and it probably 'hard work'. Just pretend you know. Oh, and have a section lumping all women into a category - waaait, you had that, you sneaky man - 'typical woman'. Here is a flash - women hate that too. See what i did there?

As a female gamer... I don't really feel insulted by this article, so much as, sorry for the person who wrote it. I know he's probably joking, or at least I hope so. I thought it sad that you would assume women don't read this site. I really enjoy it. And yes, I do love pink, though I do not personally own a pink DS. If I did buy one, I would definitely get a pink one. And I do agree that the games geared toward females on DS are stupid, but most serious female gamers are WOMEN, not GIRLS. So, stop referring to us as girls please. Stop making it so hard for us to be taken seriously.

This isn't an issue in my house. I have several buddies who actually hooked up with some of those lady types and it was great. When the guys came over for game night it was down to business, beat the game or each other to a bloody pulp. When the ladies joined us, it just made the time seem a lot more fun. Those girls could talk just as much jazz as the rest of us.
These days I'm actually raising the next gen. girl gamers. And they play right next to my son. As far as skill goes, they're evenly matched. So really this is just another one of those problems that will resolve with time.

I swear i'll never respond to finding out the player that just pawned my ass is a girl by saying, "oh baby talk nerdy to me", and following it up with "u know every time u kill me i feel it just brings us closer", ever, ever again.

I'm a woman & I thought this article was hilarious; I took it with a grain salt. Though I must say those ds games you mentioned are geared toward girls & children in general.

*sigh*...these comments point out what annoys me about girl gamers. Not being as sexist as that first sentence sounds, but this article is making fun of the people who are like 'OMG IT MUST BE SO HARD BEING A GiRL GAMER'. Look...we guys realize girls play games. Whoop-dee-doo. Just like I've finally somehow gotten used to them being in the workplace and receiving the same education as me. I don't care. Congratulations on uh...breaking that barrier.
