It's really hard to tell whether this is a parody article or not. Some issues are good, especially the girly games genre. Then there's some that's just outright feminism. I'm a guy and I LOVE MY PINK DS! Couldn't ask for a better color.
As for the female images, a lot are the same problem with anime. Japs love big boobs. Others, like Lara Croft, come from a background of athletic lifestyle and an EXTREMELY low polygon count.
How about how men are perceived? Big brawny, and hung like a horse. It's unhealthy for men to try to live up to the standards set by Serious Sam and Duke Nukem.
Sometimes, it's hard to tell what women want; girly games are "chauvinistic prejudice!" Action games are "neglecting" their audience, even those with feministic female leads.

Why do the people of North America refuse to read? @ Anybody-who-honestly-thinks-this-article-is-sexist: Are you as thick as a brick?! I don't understand how those of you commenting cannot appreciate good humour, it's dry, it's subtle, it's all around amazing. Paul Ryan, you get a gold star. well i got some cool girl gamers in my xfire but sometimes there will be guys possing off as girls and such so its kind of hard to tell from guy and girl due to the fact that ppl do that and yea some kids that havent hit puberty will sound like little girls and i understand about the controller probs, like th controllers now and days are meant for guys not girls...so its understandable about this issue. my guess one of these days they will create a controller meant for both male and female for now we must do what we get and have
