Wow! Is funny how I'm a girl and i have never actually experience any of this.... I think... I normally intend to ignore it, why? I don't like FPS, I prefer a good RPG or adventure. The nearest I have been is while playing Guitar Hero 4 with my friends: I'm the best with the guitar (and adding my short stature and my...eh... big boobs... people tend to get shocked when I play in expert).
People are more amaze when I say that I always prefer RPG because when I was a kid I watched my mom playing Final Fantasy. Yes, my mom played from the first one till the IX. Yes, she cried with Aeris. Yes, my mom brought video games to my house (the only reason why we could have a PSX and a N64 was because she wanted).
All those things in the article happend more often with my friend. In a tournament of Super Smash Brother Brawl there was even a boy who asked her for an autograph!!!
Anyway! Great article! Ignore the people that are calling you sexist (and linkganon too!). You just said what you thought without much investigation.

God, I think a lot of people are over reacting here, with the sexism and bullshit.
This always happens to GR, and if you've ever listened to an episode of TalkRadar, you'd know that they only like to make fun of negative comments, usually because:
A) Commenter did not read the article.
B) Commenter Only read name of article.
C) Commenter didn't read the introduction.
Paul says that the opinions expressed aren't his, or GamesRadars.
For God sakes, some of the commenters here should just get some common sense.

This strangely reminds me of the Burger King commercials about the Burger Shots, where the the girl screeches (sorry linkganon) and says that she wants to squeeze the burgers. Just stereotypical stuff that doesn't happen--a lot of times it's fun for us to play into those stereotypes though just to piss you off. Next time I'm on Metal Gear Online (the only online game I play) I'm going to screech when the MK II shows up. Gasp~! Little tiny Metal Gear! Ohh, I just want to squeeze him! Haha!

Ok we all need to get a reality check here for those girls out there who posted and were mad about this give him a break jesus hes a guy trying to do something good for the other team and you rip him to shreds. And yes alot of men are sexist even if they dont know it or its just a little bit alot of girls probably suck at games and alot are probably good regardless everyone has to deal with the fact that there are way more guy gamers than girls I dont have a problem with it and for the proof (which may not be sufficient) only 3 people out of 50 friends on my XBL account are girls and actually 2 of them are I can admit better than me at L4D. Were all going to have to deal with this there are just to many people in the world with different attitudes so no offense to anyone but. Put up or shutup. And XBOX 360 FOR THE WIN.
