Dynasty Warriors 1 was a one-on-one fighting game, so it shouldn't really count in the tally (or at least is worth mentioning).

Im gonna hav to say 2's are the best: Marvel vs Capcom 2, Street fighter 2, Soul calibur 2, Megaman 2, Resident evil 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Halo 2, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, Half life 2, and it just keeps going and going

completely unrealistic comparison - considering the inflation in scores because of the "OMG NEXT GEN". Plus, like said, most games haven't gotten past 4 yet. still a good article though.
