I'm guessing you used to like corn as a kid.
Either that, or it was some inside joke... either way, original usernames are few and far between to come across, and I can't say I've ever heard cornteen anywhere. Congrats on maintaining originality even after (I'm guessing) years of using a name you came up with yourself!
