The subtle cascade of air off of the turbulent helicopter blades, playing through our proud protagonist's hair, and sending shivers down the verdant foliage. Puddles kick up water, splashing across Nathan's trusty denim, creating the distinct appearance that Drake unleashed not a barrage of bullets upon seeing his enemies, but a torrent of urine.
Mercenaries loudly proclaim that "Dis iss ovver", suggesting once again that the proud country of Cuba is not only a Communist state, but the world's biggest provider of all things scurvy. Our female hero squatting atop the Hotel Shangri La, explaining the 5-star resort's recent conversion to military firing range (Lack of bathrooms).
This is not gameplay. This is Nirvana.

I think how interactive the environment is stands out from other games. Something is always moving be it a plant (2:08 the pot plant is thrown around by the helicopter same at 1:38), a washing line, the countless number of birds, the umbrella at the start or at 2mins 12 where Nate throws the table over and dishes fly across the room. The best bit is at 3:05, the debree thrown is crazy and the movement of the objects in the room is really realistic, lights are swinging, computers are sliding around, it's a scene i've never scene done this well. I think all the flags and things fluttering in the wind are all blown in the correct direction too.
So my entry is the detail in the movement of objects.

I think the most outstanding thing about this game is the action aspect to it. This seems like finally the kind of game that will work as a suspense/action movie works: it will keep you on the edge of your sit! It looks intense and fascinating. You don't seem to catch a break for a simple second! And I think that is the most amazing and interesting thing.

Also, another thing I really liked, is how the characters feel real. Not only because of how they move or how they look, but because of the voice acting. The voice acting is there while playing and it makes sense to the scene, not some random fact or BS.

I love how this video proves that nate is a total playa (player)! I mean in the first one Elana didn't die at the end, and Nate and Elana seemed to have great chemestry. But now: He's got another woman that he seems completely comfortable and flirtatious with. Nate, you "Naughty Dog"! (lame pun intended)

I really liked the part that Nate and his new friend slide via this rope. It is really simple and amazing, simultaneously. At the press of a button you can make your adrenaline exceed the normal levels and enjoy the perfect made view.

It's a very simple little detail but, I think it's pretty sweet that when the building starts coming down Nate trips forward very realistically as oppose to standing upright. Oh and the sunlight coming down through the clouds early in the trailer is just amazing. The draw distance is sick.

super cinematic when he was holding onto the sign and it broke and he had to climb it

Hey I thought the best part was when it ended at 3:55!

to me...the most stunning part of this game is the mountain scenery in the background. If you can take a minute to look at them, they look pretty darn realistic.

The animations of the dirty laundry moving on the rooftops and the plants flickering because of the wind that the helicopter is making is amazing and something I taught was impossible. I really wanna know though, where does Drake get those bullet proof t-shirts?

The game looks huge. I love how expansive the world looks. Sony keeps talking about how certain games are only possible on the PS3 this game really makes me think that's true. Also, the helicopter sequence reminds me of the opening to the God Of War games. Spectacular, indeed.

The coolest thing by far is how detailed and immersive the world feels. It's as if you're exploring a real world location as apposed to "playing a game in this section of the map". Just feels so well put together. From the birds swooping by to the cool gentle breeze flowing through the flags that you can almost feel, THIS is immersive gameplay.

I really loved how when the building was beginning to collapse, you continued to play. It didnt cut to a cutscene, It didnt take over for you. He was still able to shoot and move as the building was falling, which really helped me get sucked into the moment, and feel as if the building was collapsing around me

I love this games camera, its standard 3rd view when the player is using it but when the game takes it over (usually during platforming) you see these movie-like camera working that emphasize the action movie feel but my favourite thing is the views the camera shows (0:23, best example in above vid). They show off how beautiful a game can be.

Everything from the amazing sound to the attention to detail makes this a must buy title. But the best thing has to be the seamless non-stop action.

Cleary, DA BEST MUTHATRUCKIN thang about Uncharted 2 (more like Cumcharted 2, amirite?) is that there are no pirates. Seriously bro, after beating the last game 5 times, I wanted to go to Somalia and find random families and apologize for their pirate losses.

Also, the flags above the pool at the very beginning are like "teh amazing sauces". It's all immersive and sheet.

Also 2.0, at 2:36 Drake hella headshots that fool and its really tight.

Also Natal Edition, at 1:43 Drake is trying to move to the corner of the wall, but that lady is in his way, but she moves around him. So its all good and she doesn't have to go into the kitchen and make sammiches. I haven't seen that in a game before, and it's just another one of Naughty Dog's brilliant details that will push Uncharted 2 into the the top of the GOTY category...too bad MW2 will win tho.

Regardless of how you swing it, the most remarkable and stunning thing about this glorious gameplay video are the ascetics of the background. No matter where you swing the camera, you're either met with lush green mountain forests over the sunshine, or bombarded beautiful colors from the fantastic city design.

That is, when you're not busy being hunted down my a vicious helicopter with guns of the size of your body.

This is certainly not one of your average action / shooter / adventure game, with everything within the environment being alive and wonderfully destructible. It will simply be a thrill like no other, playing this game when it comes out.
