I liked the camera angles and events; it gives off a "movie" feel to it. Watching the building start to collapse while you're inside it is amazing!
The helicopter constantly appearing and chasing you is pretty cool too; it reminds me of the Hind D from MGS1. While watching the helicopter's grand entrance, Nate voiced what I was thinking, "Holy shit".
It seems the entire game is filled with those "oh crap!" moments. I can't wait to get my hands on this game!
My coolest thing in the footage was the fact that Drakes hair moves now (no longer will I be killed while being distracted by the Nate's physic-defying gel) :P
The wind effects add a sense of realism and adds to the imersive look and feel, the shadows from the cloths line when its swaying looks amazing. This game has great atention to detail.
I love the hugeness (is that a word??) of everything. Massive destroyed city for a back drop, huge set-pieces, the amazing animation and the speed of everything. And I like how Nathan always looks as if he is crapping himself. It just looks plain awsome. Can't wait!!
I love the fact that they have improved the weapon department in the way that you dont have to change your weapen to use grenades. Just one of the many improvements.
at the start if you listen again there are loads of birds calling in the quiet while theres no gunfire still and no helicopters to interrupt things its like a trick to make you think that this bit will just be climbing and jumping around and all peaceful but then up comes the chopper and bam! birds stop singing lol! and lol @ john7doe7 i know nates hair was stuck in place and elena's baffled me. she had a little strand that always hung down the side of her face and never moved, now it will hopefully be more realistic like other bits in the game, and also chloe can now do everything drake does which is great for gameplay, and better for story. with elena being in this 1 as well, there could be an interesting love triangle going on, and the fact that chloe can do all that will be something good for chloe to say in cutscenes, i hope this has as good a story as the 1st, gameplay it looks great, but without a good story (which im sure it will have) its generic.

Despite of course the vastly improved graphics (Animations, Models, Textures..). Very impressive. But the main thing that caught my attention was the subtle but noticeable improvement on Drake's free running movement. It just looks so much more fluent and realistic. His movements are completely different from the original especially when he jump across to something. The moving camera angles too mirror that of Resistance 2. It is like watching a movie. For example look at when Drake is grinding along that rail with his hands at the beginning. It's like experiencing it from Drake's perspective because it tilts and zooms in sometimes. It is like a cinematic cut scene but it is indeed gameplay. That is sweet. And as for the building collapsing scene at the end where Nathan and Chloe are escaping from the collapsing building. That is hectic and the way they film the cut scenes in the sequel looks much more epic than that of the original. Also they managed to include the Slo-mo bit at the end when they jump across to safety. That made that scene for me. Epic sequel for an epic gaming franshise.
This gameplay is amazing! One little thing I noticed was at one point while Nate was in the building, an elevator comes up, and a couple of enemies come out of it. One of the enemies kicks a chair and it rolls foward. It was a simple detail, bu makes it all that more realistic.
i like the whole realism aspect like the first time the chopper blows the wall down how nate pushes the desk over it's like what a real person would do another thing is the graphics when the chopper knocked those buildings down i like how some of the broken wood just falls away or at the beginning how the bricks acutally fell off the building it looks so real
This gameplay looks amazing! One cool little detail I noticed was at one point while Nate was fighting in the building. When the elevator comes up and you hear the bell, a couple of enemies come out of it. One enemies proceeds to kick a rolling chair and it realitically rolls forward. It was a simple detail, but made it that much more realistic.
As in the first game, I love how Nolan North brings his character Nathan Drake to life with his humorous and sarcastic style. I think it just adds to the movie-like experience of the game, with all the over-the-top, cinematic, action sequences seen in these four short minutes. I can only imagine what the final polished game will be like.
