Top 7... Blue Ball moments

The game may be over, but where's our happy ending?

6. Eva takes the microfilm - Metal Gear Solid 3

What happens:
After saving Eva’s life from Commie-sexual Col Volgin, treating her impalement wounds, outgunning a nuclear death tank, oh, and taking a frikkin bullet to the eye for her, Naked Snake settles down for some R&R with the saucy KGB spy. But it wouldn’t be a Metal Gear game without at least several more twists before the credits roll.

After doing the nasty in the past-y, Snake awakes to find his secret microfilm - depicting the locations of $100 billion for war finances - has gone missing, replaced by a Dear John cassette. Turns out Eva’s a Chinese spy, not Russian, and her mission was to play Snake the entire time, not team up. The one night stand angle is played up and Snake will never find out if love truly blooms on the battlefield.

Blue Balls:
No wonder this guy became Big Boss and tried to destroy the free world. He just killed his mentor under orders from the US government and was subsequently a notch in Eva’s bedpost. Yes, he did “seal the deal,” but you could tell in his eyes he wanted something more. Never has a game ending felt so much like how a Judd Apatow flick begins, leaving Snake a hollow man-shell in a sea of uncertainty. Joke’s on her though. Ocelot confirms that Snake had the real microfilm the entire time. Score one for the government!
