That's weird, I actually saw "The Guy Game" for sale at my local Hastings yesterday as I was renting the new Silent Hill game. It was used, but I was surprised that it was possible for me to buy it.

also mercenaries 2 is banned in Venezuala. The Venezualan government believes the game company is trying to convince Americans to go to war with Venezuala. Countries are way too paranoid. Ratings are made for a reason. I mean i'm only 14 and play games rated M, my parents just don't care.(Unless the game has nudity)

I would have expected Mercs 1 to be banned in china, seeing as how they're portrayed like a lot of douchebags...

Getting up is banned cause here in Australia we have $500million dollars a year damage to property threw graffiti. If anything our country needs an actually good graff game to keep us busy and not out bombing.

I've actually seen alot of copies of the Guy Game at my local Gamestop.

I'm with afroninjakatana here I saw quite a few copies of The Guy Game when it first came out and it remained there, I never heard any ban on it and the damn thing didn't go away. And mind you I lived in Utah at the time. So it may have become banned the US, but it certainly wasn't at first and the article leads you to believe otherwise..

I'm surprised Grand Theft Auto 4 isn't on the list. That game is the king of controversy. In what other game can you go to a strip club and get a lap dance? I created a list of my all time favorite games. it always makes a great discussion. www.bestgames2play.blogspot.com

Humans are violent, oppressive, and sexual by nature! To deny people of these things in a virtual world COULD (not WILL) cause them to want to act them out in the real world. I know, it can go both ways, right? Who gives a shit! Like I said, it's already in our blood, so gimme the guns, gimme the guts, gimme the sluts and the drugs, I WANT IT ALL!

i think i was about 12 when GTA san andreas was released here in the UK.

all the kids in my year thought it was cool (in an ALL-WHITE school) to say "homie" at the end of every sentence and swear like ryder.

so games DO affect kids...

the stupid ones...
