A: You’ll need to combine the following - Orichalcum plus, Orichalcum, Mythril crystal, Dense crystal, Twilight crystal and Serenity crystal. You need to synthesize the Orichalcum plus item yourself with a level nine Moogle.

Synth ingredients

Some synthesis items are incredibly common and you'll never run out, but others are rarer and dropped only by certain enemies in certain worlds. Here's an in-depth guide to 25 of the rarest and the best way of getting them...

Find... Blazing crystal
Find it These can be found both in the Beast's Castle and the Olympus Coliseum. You can't buy them in shops. Defeat a Crimson Jazz or a Crescendo and they should drop one.

Find... Bright crystal
Find it You can find these in almost every level by defeating either Air Pirates, Strafers, Neoshadows, Crescendos or Bulky Vendors. Their drop frequency is quite low, however.

Find... Lucid crystal
Find it These can be found on absolutely every level, dropped by Neoshadow monsters. You can use them to synthesize a defense boost guard recipe, which is useful

Find... Dense crystal
Find it These only appear late into the game, in the World That Never Was. They're dropped by Berserkers, one of the toughest enemies you’ll face. Use it to make the Ultima Weapon.
