Thanks for the pros/cons. I'm not interested in one myself. I just got mine... Well, it's been almost 2 years now and I'm quite happy with my Darth Vader version. (ok, wish it were black w/ i dunno, a different screen thingy).

My own complaint w/ the psp remains that you can't play it under natural light.

It's cool, but the fact that it's almost identical to the 3000 with only minor improvements doesn't justify a 80 buck increase. And they had the fucking nerve to say, "New things are HOT, so therefore we can charge more!".

You know I was really looking forward to the new PSP, like a few months ago. Now I just laugh just like the new DS which takes away functionality, limits previous Nintendo users and adds a camera?! And the Price... No thank you.

im glad you showed the cons first and then the pros because you made hate it then like it again.

250$ is not worth it, tho. it costs more than the wii now

you ARE getting 16GB. but there is a difference between how manufactors calculate GB and how your computer and other devices does. the differnce in these methods of calulation should be around 7%, but both are accepted.

Seems to me as if Sony doesn't think a lot of stuff through, how could they not notice the problems with the buttons? Same goes for not filling out the library with older games, they're cheating themselves out of money they could have gotten from people re-buying their own games! lol

i can't predict this doing any good, i'm an owner of a psp and the extra weight from the umd doesn't really bother me at all, i'd rather have a few extra grams for the ability to trade back games and purchase pre-owned games, i feel there are not enough of us who use the interweb for downloading our games to remove the umd from the psp, i can bet its price will drop a fair amount by the middle of next year, from what i can see the psp go isn't an improvement at all the controls look harder than before to use and if the screen is dimmer then whats the point in losing the gaming for some weight ? i just know some poor kid is gonna get this for their Christmas and they wont be able to get games because they dont have wireless internet

I swear, if those bastards at Sony force Namco to make Tekken 6 for the PSP download only, I am gonna go to their office and kick all of their cocky asses.

That where these bastards are going to do next year: phase out the UMD and put all their game on download from that point on.

I'll buy one eventually, just not yet

"The pros and cons of owning Sony's download only handheld console". Jeez Justin, you could have put "Download Only" in CAPS LOCK.

Doesn't look like it's worth it. My classmates want it, but I couldn't spare them from the wrongness. Why buy another PSP? This is just like any other PSP (except it's lamer).

I'd rather have UMDs than having to buy them.

lol, first sentence made my day. "hard-earned" and it was a link going to the boob wobble action for the six-axis. the article definately made me think about buying a PSP go tho...

There aren't that many demos for the PSP Go. In particular the signature games like Gran Tourismo. I'd like to see how the graphics look before i spend any money for the games.

Man, I'd love the psp go just because it does look so sexy and the screen is great. Buuuuuut, you can do everything the go can with a 3000 and use your UMD's. If you want more space to download games just get a bigger memory stick, they are pretty cheap. Unless I can get a psp go for about $100 used i don't think ill ever get one.

waaah... it's all looks!!!
seriously... those who already have a psp, think really hard if you're willing to pay more for more-or-less the same kind of gameplay...
