These Screenshots Are Fake!

Warning: Do not believe your eyes. Not even a little bit

Excite Truck 2

Rule two of fake screenshots: If it comes accompanied by a press release riddled with basic spelling mistakes (like "ambiances") then it's fake. Probably. You can never be too sure when it comes to press releases.

Killzone 2

Eagle-eyed gamers will notice the Helghast soldier is lifted straight from the first controversial footage of Killzone 2. Others will simply see the out-of-place weapon (cribbed from Enemy Territory: Quake Wars) and realise something is up. Either way, this is bobbins.

Halo 3

To paraphrase the infinite monkey theorem, a thousand web monkeys on a thousand keyboards will eventually uncover even the most obscure of images used to create a fake composition. In this case, the background is a bit of French vapourware.

Kid Icarus DS

Rule one of fake screenshots: If it looks too good to... no, we've done that one. Needless to say, though, that this fanboy-pleasing image is naught but a Deviant Artist's fantasy.
