In my experience the only game that a girl will actually play and enjoy playing is rockband. They love to sing their little hearts out, and sometimes its pritty funny to watch.

My friend's girlfriend games. A lot. She understands when he doesn't want to go over for dinner with her parents so he can game.
My last girlfriend likes to play Guitar Hero and Rock Band. One of my female friends likes both of those and DDR. And another female friend likes CoD 4 and Rock Band (Since the notes are prettier than Guitar Hero's).

I actually dated a girl who I got into videogames and at one point was more into playing the 360 online than I was. On top of that she was 3 years older than me and would always keep her mini fridge stocked with beer. We'd stay up till 2 am playing l4d or gears 2 getting shitfaced and becoming increasingly hostile to the foreign kids we were playing with. Too bad I was a mean immature prick at at the time and ruined my friendship with her forever after she realized that...

My girlfriend actually plays games, as a yaoi fangirl, however, she only plays games with a shitload of homoeroticism. I actually got her into playing Left 4 dead with me by convincing her Bill/Francis was totally canon. Now she loves it, and only plays as Bill.
