Magic of Scheherazade
Correct pronunciation: "Sha-hair-uh-zod"
Incorrect pronunciations: Where to even begin?
Wow. Compared to this gem, the titles on the rest of the list practically roll off your tongue. Is it German? Spanish? Arabic? Klingon? A badly translated combination of all four?
In reality, Scheherazade was the name of the princess and narrator in The Book of One Thousand and One Nights, or the Arabian Nights, from which this 1989 NES game is clearly trying to steal some allure and mysticism. A plan which kinda backfires when the customer can't even read the word on the front of the box. Seriously, take a look - they had to reprint it in bold red lettering just to make it legible.
Besides, no videogame princess should sound like a type of sausage.
