former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, who resigned after having non-simulated sex with a prostitute...
OMFG ROFL, this shit made me laugh so hard i just about took a wee in me briches. keeps thes'm funny articles a comin' GR

Loved the article. It'll be like this until my generation, I'm 26 now, gets into those positions that games won't be demonized. But then we'll demonize something else that our kids play because it's new and we don't understand it. It's a cycle. Oh, Z-Man, they weren't all Fox News. I think only 1 or 2 of then was. The rest was CNN, MSNBC or other local news channels. Fox News is a good channel!
i loved everything about this article seriously maybe u should send it to any of the news stations and see if they will do a story on it
secondly u should keep coming out with stuff that proves the media incorrect and i love how a rape seen in a movie is ok but voluntary sex in a game is hooooooooorrrrrrible
also since this is on the fifth page i hope u read it
thirdly or whatever number i am on loved everybit of this just to restate i also have written 3 papers that prove how video games do not affect the "children" and so if u could write the sources of ur sources that would be great
It's too bad this couldn't be published in a newspaper for all people to read so that no more stories such as the Animal Crossing one could be made without being shot down
*This article is the light!*
I think there should be a study conducted. Hell, it should be a documentary. A massive survey, going around asking people if they play games and how video gaming has really affected their lives. Not the ones who play Babiez and Horsiez and the increasingly more socially acceptable ones. I'm talking about the people who play GOW and CoD and the M-rated games. The bad part is, you just have to find one person in that group who actually is a not-job, and they can find a reason to blame it on video games.
The ESRB would be about 10 times more effective if parents actually knew what it was and didn't blatantly ignore it, and if retailers actually enforced the it. But we all know the argument on how parents need to step up and actually raise their kids, not sit them down in front of a television for 12 hours a day unsupervised and expect them to grow up right.
Yeah, I played GTA. The fact that I want to run down pedestrians is neither here nor there.
In the article, the media was basically Fox. To the readers who are bashing on the article--Fox is just THAT biased!
Great youtube videos, nothing like staying up and getting angry over ignorant people :P
wow.
im so shocked.
"cooper have you ever played mass effect?"
"huh huh..NO??"
the media only wants to put everything down except for themselves.
stupid.
In the mass effect Fox news story, it made me furious how the spike.tv guy is essentially brushed off and that nobody doesn't seem to acknowledge that he's correcting them and providing defence for the game.
This sort of shit never happens in the UK as far as I know.
