Awesome article here, most of these games I love, except maybe a few. It's very true to this, these titles really do separate the lovers from the haters.

i love almost every game on this list (the exception being space giraffe, never played it) but i never understand why people have to take such bias on games... if the game got generally good reviews, it's probably a good game. i mean, i never really caught on with COD4 like everyone else did. but there's no denying the fact that it's a superb game.

Assassin's Creed-fantastic
Guitar Hero/Rock Band-Mainstream but very fun
KZ 2-all that has going for it are it's graphics, brought nothing new to the table.
Space Giraffe-?
Pokemon- Very fun, can't really see how people couldn't enjoy it at some point in their life.
Dead Rising-I'm really in the middle about this game, though I like it more then hate it.

If you don't like Halo, just quit. There's always the PS3 with its wide assortment of games like: Metal Gear Solid 4 and Little Big Planet and Killzone 2 and Resistance 2....and Metal Gear Solid, and Little Big Planet....and Meta....

Halo = Amazingly fun with friends/moderately mature people. Once you try a big team slayer on heavy sandtrap match and manage to get a team consisting ENTIRELY of perverse frat boys who don't use the game for anything besides screwing around and talking perverse S*** to their friends....... well you get a lil bit turned off.
In that particular instance (after team-kiling a couple of them out of anger) they started calling me mangina and I was forced to quit.....
