fable 2s co -op was terrible...it shouldnt have been stuck to 1 screen but your own so long single but u can see other guy on your screen but not some barrier and stupid camera...i hate fable 2...but anyway to the point fallout 3 should have had this concept but with the correction to fables crappy multi
also zelda twilight princess or any other could be fun multi tho it scraps story of 1 hero kinda thing
but at this time every game should have some kind really?!
BioShock wouldn't work co-op, it would ruin the mystique of your faceless silent protagonist. BF: Bad Company could use co-op for the campaign as well.
I actually liked Jericho, thought it was massively under-rated...
...although the co-op thing is very true but I think the real reason it wasn't there is because some characters are a hell of a lot better than others (I only used Jones when I HAD to).
Beast Rider isn't half as bad as most of those reviews claim, but I agree that it's dumb that it didn't have co-op in the first place. It's not the first Golden Axe game that didn't, mind you (that goes to Golden Axe Warrior, released in 1991 for the Sega Master System), but there was an INSANE amount of criticism given the game due to no co-op that SHOULD'VE been predicted by the developer before even taking this route.
Really need to add Battlefield Bad Company, a game about the adventure of four rogue soldiers. What makes the game's lack of co-op even worse is that the game is built on a engine designed for online play... it wouldn't have been hard for DICE to implement co-op... but no! You have to play with dumb AI and not your friends.
Wish they would make co-op for PC that you could play on the same comp. It is bogus to have to have 2 computers and 2 disks to play co-op (aka Red Alert 3, COD WAW)
By the way, the AI allies in Red Alert 3 are the stupidist is have ever seen.
Far Cry 2 needed co-op. The game required a ridiculous amount of driving, and while driving, you're vulnerable to attacks from these roving bands of lunatics. The most frustrating thing is that some of the generic jeeps had turret-mounted weapons that are completely worthless because you can't drive and fire weapons at the same time. I would have even settled for being able to shoot a non-turret mounted gun while driving.
The game was still great - but co-op would have made it better.
Oblivion & Fallout 3 are absolutely capable of & would kick much a$$ if made multi-player. Conquering both games with a buddy would be much less frustrating than letting your AI-controlled tag-along get you killed - CONSTANTLY!
