killzone 2 is well overrated. id give it a 7.
no replay value, online is mostly just chaos, and is completed very quickly.
i played the demo for red faction and decided to only buy it if found in a bargain-bin.
street fighter 4 is a good game, but also overrated. playing online is a bitch (everyone just spams tigerpunch with sagat, making fights boring), seth is the cheapest boss ever (i did beat arcade on hardest though, and he wasnt that much more of an ass there than he is on normal), but worst of all is that should you hope to do well in the game, you have to buy an arcade stick.
i will not shell out $100 for a peripheral that is usefull for only one game (VF5 and tekken works perfectly with regular pads).

LOL yeah well I guess I would be a PS3 fanboy, but really what I like is good games man, that's all I really want regardless of what system they are for.
I just stand more by the PS3 because I don't have to worry if it's going to work the next time I turn it on or not like I would if I had an Xbox, also I know I got way more for my dollars than I ever can with an Xbox.
But hell I don't bear no ill-will , I still love these guys' take on most things (just not so much the reviews, that's all).
Wow, inFAMOUS isn't even on the list?? And for the record, it's got an 85 rating (with a whopping 88 reviews compared to Red Factions measly 35 reviews) compared to Red Faction's 86.
Anyways, my GOTY so far is Killzone 2, but that's just my opinion. If you'll excuse me, I think I'll go have a round.
If you say first, because noone cares, WE ALL F**KING KNOW. Just shut the f**k up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Bioshock was released in 2009 (I'm glad it wasn't, it's really good!) then it would be #1 because of not only a Metacritic of 93, but it's just frigging awesome.
I'd get SFIV if I were into fighting games but thats just one genre I haven't gotten into. I guess a nearby friend or online play would help me enjoy it more so though. I gotta say I'm really glad I picked up Plants vs Zombies, GTA China Wars and Peggle. I need Peggle DS but I already have it on my PC, (both orig and Nights) and on my 360 now lol. I'd add Halo Wars as a honorable mention if you were to have them with the article. It might not be as deep as most RTS but it nails the Age of Empires like formula along with intense halo styled battles. The story is pretty good too.
I really loved some of these but i would have changed the list a little:
1) Assassins Creed 2
2) Bioshock 2
3) Alan Wake
4) Street Fighter 4
5) Punch Out
6) Splinter Cell Conviction
7) GTA Chinatown Wars
The Games that really look good are Ghostbusters, Crimecraft, Command and Conquer the first decade, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Grand Theft Auto: ChinaTown Wars, Street Fighter lV, Punch Out and Jaurez.
