Ive lost count of how many times ive played through quite a few games - Resi 4,Final Fantasy 10, Half Life 2, Metal Gear Solid Fallout 3 and Bioshock all stand out
I'm tired of hearing fans of the original fallouts bitch and moan about fallout 3. If you hate it so much why do you even bother thinking about it? Personally I think its the best game for the 360 I've put over 350 hours into it and still havent found every weapon not to mention the unique ones. And to deadgirls you can shut the fuck up you might've played 100% of the MAIN story but I bet you didnt even try one free form quests or just for the hell of it go and explore the wasteland. Just go back to your games that are "easy" for your dumbass to understand.
How come Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is not mentioned in this thread ?? I think it was one of the most anticipated and long awaited game of 2008 and I'm sure it came like a blast when it was released in June of 2008.. PS3 owners definitely still play MGS4 I guess.
Man, gaming has become as trendy as the music "industry" (MTV/VH1/Radio garbage) now.
"oh no! I can't play a game that's a year old because it's too old, and that's not cool!".
Retarded seriously, a fun game is a fun game always, just like good music is good music always...you don't "move on", you play other games that come out if they are good (though today, games are played if they are "cool" or whatever other mindless reason people have these days).
I play games from the early 90's all the way to the new games, I can't believe there's people who are "surprised" by this, by saying crap like "you're playing a game that's 2 years old?".
I mean, I've seen people who want to play a game that they haven't played but they don't play it because it's too "old" (even if that's 8 months old!), they say "yeah, but I don't know if I should play it because it's already a year or so old"!...PLEASE!
I haven't played Mass Effect yet, and when I build my new PC I'm going to play it, I don't care if it was 10 years old, I know it's a great game.
The same with Assassin's creed, I haven't played it (except a little on 360 on a friend's house, I don't have 360 anymore) and I will and I don't care if the new one is coming out.
Another thing is...online play, I still don't see what people see in it...no matter which game I play I just find it as a "bonus" or a "gimmick" but nothing else, I don't play more than 10 minutes and that's probably exaggerating.
I mean, some people define games today by their online play, and some even want games that would NEVER fit having online play to have it, I don't know...what's next? the next Hitman game with online play? Assassin's Creed 2 with online play?
I can't think of other games right now, but there were games in the last few years that would in NO WAY fit in with online play due to their single player type/genre, and some people would be like "yeah, the game's good but it doesn't have online play" and I was like "what?".
Seriously, I would like to see online play die off and see what happens!...probably nobody will care because they will move on to the next "cool thing".
K now I can see why GR gets accused of 360 bias.
On an unrelated note. I could never get into L4D as much as everyone else has. Dunno why, it just bores me.
with ya all the way moonfrost.
never really got to use online though. (my internet doesn't work on consoles.) But I feel that someone could just do the internet right people like you and me would be able to enjoy a game to it's fullest (IDEA FOR ARTICLE: top 7...best ways to improve the internet for consoles) any ideas on how to improve the internet?
