This article would be compltely relavent if it weren't that 6 of those 7 games have lots of DLC. I think a better name for the article would be "Games that keep charging you for extra playing time."

L4D? Check
GTA IV? Check.

Yeah, i'm still playing a few of these quite a lot too. I still keep going back to Modern Warfare and Uncharted from '07 too.

But mostly, I play FIFA 09 most.(Oct 08?)
Pretty addicted.

this article pretty much sumed up what i've been playing pretty much all year. Especially RB2. I cant believe that games music library. 1 thing i would say is missing, hands down, Street Fighter IV.

cant wait for uncharted 2. no.1 was awesome and i got the platinum trophy the 2nd can only be better but i dont play the 1st any more because of no multiplayer. i reckon co-op will extend the life of the campaign a lot, i would still be playing co-op and multiplayer now if the 1st had it. i reckon ill spend a bit of time on multiplayer, but the campaign is the main part of the game and co-op will be great fun.

I can attest to Fallout 3. Even though I haven't gotten a chance to play any of the DLC (waiting for it to hit PS3...), I'm still finding plenty of things to occupy myself with in the Capital Wasteland.

how is COD:WAW up there and the only thing good about it is nazi zombies and the campaign the multiplayer is a joke gears 2 and left for dead should have gotten higher than it it was worth playing online

Wow. FOUR of those titles are just overhyped trash. Fallout 3, Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, and COD5. Sure, they games DO supply entertainment but never match the hype and only supply maybe a few hours of entertainment before you realize your bored. And yes, that includes Fallout 3.

I really play the hell out of Fallout 3 and L4D. The planning is useless on L4D because either way your zombie food. Fallout3 is the best because you can always can start a new life.

Fallout should be #2 next to Halo 3 at #1.
With all the map packs they should eaasily be in the top 5. Skate 2 should also be in the top
