The NEW Nintendo DS

Not enough to make me give up my DS Lite. Although the DSi is shaping up to be quite a bit cooler than I thought.

The loss of the GBA slot doesn't bother me very much. I prefer using my old SP for that, anyway.

Yeah, i prefer the DS lite. Nintendo wont make any games that utilize the camera, to keep some forward compatibility (like if the PSone played PS2 or PS3 games). And I have a nice, expensive, digital camera to take pictures with. And I could already do all that with a Wii.

Epic fail for Nintendo, are they not just doing what every other company have done before this is just goin to be forgoten just the PSP 1.5 (or watever its called) and what is with Nintendo getting crapy celebrities for comercials for games that came out ages ago
its really embarrasing to us gamers seeing random celebrities pointing out the obvious not having a clue about what they are doing

i traded my ds and all my games for a lite with 2 and now they stopping me playing my gba games and guitar hero!

i dint get the lite because it didnt take a genius to figure out that there would be a better one around the corner. i'll definitely get this, and hopefully a good few more games will come out with it.

I agree with metroid2099400 on the first page..the GBA slot is one of my favourite parts of the DS, its sad to see it go.
Say ActionVision are mighty pissed off, how we going to play Guitar Hero now? :S

I too have the old clunker DS. I cant believe they removed the GBA port. One of the best part of Nintendo's handheld was there reverse compatibility. Plus, how are people supposed to play Guitar Here On Tour or, more importantly, import pokemon onte their Diamond/Pearl! Bad move Nintendo, bad move.

You don't NEED to buy the DSi if you're moaning about it. You can always keep your Lite and not get the DSi.

hmmmm, i have the original ds. i liked the lite version but i stuck to my old one. this one sounds cool, but a camera? no gba slot? bigger? i dont think i'm gonna buy this one.

Wow, I haven't even been able to care about getting a Lite yet, and already, here comes DSi. No more GBA depresses me, but now I don't really need to buy a new camera for anther while. Oh, and 'Smash Bros. DSi' (or something) had better be downloadable.

I'd love it EXCEPT for the loss of the GBA slot. One of the things I loved about the DS Lite was that I could still play some of the fantastic GBA games I owned on it. That sucks =( Oh well, looks like I'll have to buy it & keep both my DS Lite & DSi handy.

If they give a good deal on exchange DSlites then i might be want to buy it and the camera sounds the best thing ever but you better hope it has a good battery to keep all tat stuf going.
