The Thing (the movie) remains one of my favorite horror flicks to date. The Thing (the game) was.... well, it was interesting to watch somebody ELSE play. Every now and then.
Never played Way of the Samurai 2, but I liked the first one. Played it start to finish. It was a fun ten minutes.
Heh. I owned the 40 Winks game. I remember racing some sort of witch who flew around on a rocket.
Also, can I make a criticism? You say at the beginning of the article that no writer goes into a word processor with the intent of over-hyping a game or movie, but then you bring up people at Rolling Stone. And, then people who didn't have any such intent when writing, like you said, a preview, you proceed to make fun of them as well.
I'm not in any way trying to insult you though, Mr. Wilde.
If you read articles, then this is the article to read!.....this article will alter your perceptions of reality and blows all other articles out of the water........93%!!
Sadly, deep in my childhood memories I vaguely remember 40 winks. Sometimes the thought of a Red Dwarf movie brings me hope, until I remember that it could in fact turn into a movie about the American Pilot *Shudders in fear*.
Looking Glass studios needs to get off their asses and make a new Tribes game, seriously. They're probably too busy with Bioshock 2 though to even care. I don't blame them.
Hahaha my mom bought me 40 Winks when I was really young because she saw on the cover that it was better than Mario. I only remember 2 things about the game:
1. It sucked.
2. That damn quote on the front haha
Great article
