Your obviously in 7th grade, and, thus not mature enough to talk to on any sort of human level.
You took offense at something which wasn't meant to give offense....it really is annoying trying to read all caps....but type however you want to type there junior. I'll just disregard your posts from here on out.
Has anyone else noticed that a lot of these games (almost all of the top nintendo ones in fact) came out very early in the consoles lifetime?
I think we all can agree that the average life of a console is ~5 years, and many of these games came out when the system debuted or shortly there-after.
Does that mean that we've already seen the best that PS3 and 360 have to offer?
@Moschetto: no no no you misunderstood. not saying the game wasnt quality, i own the fucking thing. im just saying i dont think it was like a friggin milestone for the system.
I understand that this must have been a hard list to write and all in all i think you did an excellent job (almost reads like a top list of games that got the best metacritic score on their platform :P)
Anyway the one change i would make (taking into account your comments on games that revolutionised): Resident Evil 4.
That is a game that sold millions, redefined an iconic series, redefined a genre, pulled gaming into the next generation, terrified me repeatedly, inspired countless rip offs, held Gamecubes head just above water and showed the world capcom was truley revolutionary.
To be completely igonored on both PS2, GC, and Wii is a little harsh no?
i think i must disagree on N64, GBA and DS. i feel goldeneye was far better than super mario 64, but thats just me. furthermore, Golden Sun is by far THE best games nintendo has ever published. and on the DS i think FFIV was better than phantom hourglass, and certainly better than SMB, especially seing as SM64DS is also better than that.
kingdom hearts should also be the best game for ps2.
yeah, i agree with most of that stuff except for the stuff i haven't played yet so wouldn't know anyways. i agree that super mario 64 is one of the best games on N64, however there are many that hold a CLOSE second place. ocarina of time is good and so is goldeneye, but for some reason majora's mask was my other favorite game of the N64. That means alot because the n64 was my favorite system and the first game console i ever got. i have 3 of them and they all still work :P
as for psp, i'm shocked that you didn't put any of the gta games on the list, however i can't really comment on your decisions since i haven't played either of those games.
i remember having a bad trip once and whilst walking home to sort my head out i was visualising playing tetris with the paving slabs!!thats how epic that game was....even when totally out of your head...it still manages to find a way into your thinking
and also why no god of war chains of Olympus for greatest psp game??
lol i agree with everything and your reasoning seems tomake sense...tho in my opinion (which dont matter anyway) would be zelda oot winner with banjo kazooie a very close runner up nintendo
also wii i agree with wii sports as its sold alot but i just loathe it soo much...i would have love twilight princess to be there
OK i agree with al,ost the full list though the desicion of not putting Crash Bandicoot in the top position for the PSone wuzn't a gud one ask anyone who ever owened a PSone if the haven't played Crash and loved it
Also i totally agree to the PS2 choices Okami wuz damn Emotional
