I think i deserve ODST's soundtrack becuase it would always a have a special place in my heart. My Great Great Uncle Stanley was very sick and was bed ridden at my house for a a month and before he passed away i would always try to start a conversation with him. He being 75 and me being 15 we didn't have much in commen. But one thing we a had in commen was he liked large symphonies, and classical music and i liked more modern symphines like Marty's music. I let him listen to some of Marty O' Donnels' music from the Halo 2 and 3 soundtrack and to my surprise he liked it. We spent a few hours listening to his music and my music and i discoverd there is something peacful about classical music and he loved marty's music. I know I kind of went off topic but if i win i will always be reminded of my Great Great Uncle Stanley.

Being sick as hell and unable to do just about anything makes this TDar a Godsend.

Also, a copy of the ODST soundtrack would be a HUGE help to me. I'm a musician of multiple genres and styles who does a good amount of work/composition on the computer. Being able to have a copy of this soundtrack to hear and possibly transcribe would aid me immensely with the piece I'm building now. I'm intending to have the latter portion of it fade into a bit of a spacey, almost minimalist feel, and the flawlessly subtle accompaniment is a wonderful guidepiece.

I hear ya man. Music is one of the greatest and most meaningful connections you can have, especially with the elderly. RIP

To add to my reason as to why I deserve the soundtrack:
I am a huge Halo gamer and have all but 2 of the achievements in Halo 3. I have a lot of halo themed objects, like I have a one of a kind Halo 3 Faceplate for my Guitar Hero guitar which I bought off of ebay.

And most importantly because I heard an awesome song on the internet which Im sure Brett will love and should put on the podcast. Zelda meets Knights of Cydonia. 'Nuff said.

I've become something of a budding game music lover. I have the first two Halo soundtracks and I'd really like to see how ODST differs from them.

I'm a high school musician learning to compose right now. I'm considering both video game and composing as a career, and I've already made a couple of simple flash games with cool chiptunes soundtracks. Obviously, Marty O'Donnell is the most well known composer in video games and he's one of my role models and seems like a great guy. Getting the ODST soundtrack would help me to learn more about his style. Also I'm a collector of video game soundtracks on disc, and this would add a very desired piece to my collection. Keep up the great work with TDar guys. Later.

I want the ODST soundtrack to inspire my futuristic drawing to new heights. I've never been very good at designing mechs or spaceships and such. but with the wonderful jazz of the future that is ODST, I believe I may just be able to turn this predicament around. My forte in design is more in the rpg style, knights, monsters, mytical stuff, etc. I listen to a lot of RPG music, and that helps these designs, but It's sad to say the I don't have much music to inspire my mechs and such. I love how bungie is taking steps forward and trying new things, and this is incorporated into their new ODST OST (OMG). Music that tries new things and sounds this unique and balanced is just what I need to level up my futuristic designs.

Always love you guys' podcast, finally signed up to the site. Also would the ODST soundtrack. Personally of all Halo's music, this one is my favorite, was really dynamic, I especially like the wave 5 firefight music with the tribal drums.

I would love to have one of the ODST soundtracks. Martin O'Donnell killed it on this one. Besides while playing the NMPD level, in the final showdown. I said to my 3 buddies i was playing with that the music was really good and intense. I got called a loser. I want to be a WINNER!!!

Hey guys (and gal), GREAT show. As always.

I don't remember the last time I won a contest and I love almost everything Halo but I refuse to go overboard and dress up as an Elite at a convention or anything like that. I have two Halo Xboxes (original),Halo artbook, comics, books, all the soundtracks and a bunch of Halo action figures. Things I couldn't afford were the Halo 3 Xbox 360, and the Halo 3 Zune. I would LOVE to add this to my collection but if I don't win I will probably buy it anyway (I can afford a cd). Thanks guys (and gal) if I do win.

I would love to have the ODST soundtrack because its is one of the best soundtracks out this year and it would be the first video game soundtrack that I owned...besides "I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMB13Z 1N 1T!!!1" song "I MAED A SONG W1TH ZOMB13Z 1N 1T!!!1" I have music from all over in my computer from techno to pop punk to death metal to 90's rap to latin music and I can understand why people love it those genres. I study music in my free time and the soft piano parts that are played while free roaming is the first time that I want to know how to play a certain theme or song from a video game.

Love the show. Big fan. I disagree with your Borderlands complaints though. I have never had an issue with respawns. Not quite sure what part of the game was giving you that issue.
Keep up the great work!

I really want the ODST soundtrack. I'm 15, so I don't have a ton of money. I mow lawns around the neighborhood and every cent I make usually gets spent on something Halo related.

After sinking $100 on ODST (I got the Limited Edition), $40 on the Halo Encyclopedia, $15 on the Helljumper Halo comics, and $10 on a Grunt shirt on ebay; I am completely broke.

Lawn mowing season has sadly come to an end, and I have no way to buy the soundtrack. Between that and the new Halo novel coming at the end of the month, I may sadly miss out on two great pieces of Halo merchandise.

So if you could help me out and send me a Soundtrack, you can trust that you will have a special place in the Halo fan's heart.

Hi,

I really love the soundtracks from all the Halo games and ODST is no different in this regard. The way the music goes from Techno to Orchestral, the wide variety of instruments used... everything is so awesome. When I'm feeling a bit let down, the first thing I do is listen to a few tracks from Halo 3's OST. "Never Forget", "Finish the Fight", "Bits and Pieces" and "Traffic Jam" are among my all-time favorite game music pieces. I really appreciate the music since I myself am the main pianist for my college.

I know I'm a bit late for the contest, but just thought I'd give it a try since the winner's not yet out.
