I sort of agree with Smeggs. It looks like a super-imposed rat/cat with a PS2 quality (graphics wise) character. Maybe it looks better in motion (damn slow interweb!).

I think the game looks amazing. The art design, lighting, environments, etc.
However the character models are nothing special. I understand they are in the same vein as the last two titles but they could easily have more detail. The hairs on the cat/bird/mouse don't even appear to be fur shaded, merely bitmaps.
Still want.

This could be a prequel to SotC... I don't know like the once populated lands before it became "forbbiden" and the beast being a colossi decendent... based off the link between Ico and SotC...
...BTW if that IS the case then the team need to work smarter...

Incredible! Going by how long we've had the chain screen grab I estimate this footage to be at least 16/17 months old.
I think the boy is prolly just an early model or placeholder so I'm not reading(yet)into the lack of horns and the creature will gain even more detail than the fur/feather combo it now sports has. In any case the environments already look stunning and the character animations for the creature are among the best I've ever seen-in games or films.
The next thing we see about this will be mindblowing-make no mistake. People saying the gfx look like PS2 must be pi55ed! Yeah they're rough round the edges but some of the animations, landscapes and touches are spellbinding-as you would expect from Team Ico. This time, however, I've a feeling the tech will match the artstyle and surpass even SoTC.

Am I seeing a different trailer to all the people who are saying this is beautiful? Cuz all I'm seeing is kid with detail that would look bad on a PS2 but looks downright appalling on a PS3. And how do they go from design as beautiful as the colossi in SOTC to seeing that looks like a lemur with little wings glued on the back?
