By the way that's not Sam Fisher...all it is, is a dude with night vision goggles. His helmet is interesting though, looks kinda like the ProTec helmets warn by spec. ops (e.g. DELTA). Also at 1:16 you see 2 "Little Bird" helicopters used for close air support....and target insertion by special ops teams (e.g. Delta). Interesting.........
Dawgs. If you bothered to read my post, I said "All Ghillied Up", is one of the better missions in Call of Duty. Aka, In your words, "the Sniper level." The problem is, the only other level I felt like I was "Wow"ed by was the opening S.A.S level. Yes. The Nuke was a new thing to players, but, they could've done better than let you just walk around and fall over. That was just plain dumb.
S'just, I remember playing the original Call of Duty, before all these perks and the such seemed to dominate the Gaming industry, and WWII wasn't completely cliched, It felt more like there was a 'War' going on. I remember one of the opening Russian levels where your Commissar shoves an empty pistol in your hand, and screams at you to, more or less, "Die for the Motherland" while once you step on the battlefield, You're getting bombed and shot at.
Now I don't doubt Infinity Ward's talent, they could just do more with it.
As we all know, there was a strange amount of teddy bears to be found in the bowls of toilets in the post-civilization of Washinton, D.C. in the game Fallout 3. Also, any player who managed to find their way to the waste treatment plant would have found an asinine amount of teddy bears going into machinery via conveyer belts. Therefore, teddy bears are OBVIOULY a sign that one level will take place in a sewer or something of the like. A sewer would be ideal for sneaking into terrorist strongholds...
one other thing i saw a post about the guy that says " remember no russian" what it means is that he doesnt want him or any of his men to speak russian during the attack cause itll give away who they really are its kinda one of those " hey remember none of that...cause itll get them mad" things
im almost positive ive seen that bear in 4. maybe infintiy ward is using it to "brand" their games from treyarchs? i agree with brock77n completely. looks great, cant wiat.
Siberia is the place in Russia...so mainly this is some sort of discrimination party driven by terrorists who probably wants to achive great nations to encounter with each other...
The teddy bear, at least in my mind, could be in the game to show how innocent people are being affected by all the in-game fighting and events (possibly even from an Eagle-Eye-type event (like the opener of the movie) where false intel makes soldiers kill civilians when they only want to stop terrorists, causing everyone to turn on them). I also hate the fact that, for once, I am on either THE FREAKING 4TH OR 5TH PAGE!
Did no one make a connection? The airport part that has the Russians are the russian terrorists on the plane in mile high club. Others are in ther airport, so thats why there are so many on the plane. The hostage could be a fictional "business" man or CEO with connections that was at the airport and whatnot. Thoughts?
