Teddy bears are actually all over the console COD games. In Finest Hour you could pick up a Teddy bear for a little extra health. In Call Of Duty 2, you "killed" a teddy bear in Russian training mission. In Call Of Duty 4, there where various teddy bears used as misc. set peices. They're not hard to find. I think the Teddy bear symbolizes that Infinity Ward won't try to change the winning formula to much.
Personally, I don't have a problem with Swimming sections in Video Games if done right. Though, Infinity Ward is going to have to do a lot more than just this gimmick of a 'Perk' system. All that is is a handicap for Bad. Players. I want an actual enriching Single Player for once. I'm sick of Developers solely focusing on Multiplayer and then we end up either getting a crap Single Player, or, Both.
I want more of a 'War' feel to this one. All Ghillied up did this well, from the feeling of God you had, to how you saw "there used to be hundreds of thousands of people here". Where your fellow Marines aren't just a bunch of tough guy Grunts, and have actual personality, morals, ethics, Etc. But y'know. I'm asking for a bit much.
The Teddy bear I would assume is some sort of collectable I might think. And at first, I thought the part where they said "Remember, No Russian" could be a Undercover, 'Soldiers-disguised-as-Civilians Role. but that's a new take on it.
There is a Teddy Bear in CoD WaW. The teddy bear is in the zombie
verruckt map pack. When the teddy bear shows up in the gun crate, the crate gets destroyed and moves to another location.
To me this means that Modern Warfare 2 will have zombie mode!!!
my opinion of the teddy bear looks like to me one of those in game cut scenes, kinda like a check point where the game takes over and all you do is sit and watch maybe the person you play as picks it up
Also saw a comment saying something about how fast the COD games are being made. Not exactly if you consider Infinity Ward didnt do WOW so they have been doing this one for a couple of years.
You guys are all stupid, the teddy bear obviously means there's a dream level where you walk into a room, get ambushed up with some fancy controlled hallucinogenic drug and then you play as a giant teddy bear with a fancy robot body.
You have to smash a shitload of russians and take out a small village and then the level ends when the drug wears off and you're surrounded by dead guys.
Oh and because games like to trick you now, the dead guys will really be leukemia ridden bankrupt midget lepers and you're gonna look like a giant douche for killing them all and claiming the teddy bear made you do it.
i dont think the teddy bear is used for anything. children's toys are used as a tool to make the ramafications of war stand out. its used to make people realise how horrible war is. and its not just teddy bears, although they and dolls are most commonly used.
Well maybe just maybe it means ZOMBIES!
In the new map pack of zombies there is a teddy bear in the mistery box and it destroys it and sends it to another location on the map.
The teddy bear has appeared in several CODs. it was in finest hour (it gave you a health bounus if you picked it up in 1 level) and it is in the zombie verrukt level in W@W
