For me, it had to be in NFL Street. I had to do a challenge and shut out the lions in a game to 20 on the hardest difficulty (They weren't the crappy lions that they are now either). The reward were gloves that upped a QB's passing by 3, which would give my QB a full passing bar. I wanted to win that challenge so badly. I tried for 2 hours and I won nothing. I must have threw my controller 4 times. I finally completed it, but I was red with rage.

I remember playing Sonic The Hedgehog on my Sega Megadrive when I was a kid. It was a rainy day and I'd spent sooo long getting to the like, penultimate level. And then my console flatlined, completely crashed, like a grandma who lost at shuffleboard.
I also remember throwing the controller so hard that it pulled the socket out of the console and smashed through my Subbuteo table, yes Subbuteo, which broke into like 3 pieces and sent me into a wild rage for like half an hour. I was only calmed down when I found cake in the fridge.
Moral of this story : Cake saves lives. Namely those of my neighbours.

I know I've been much angrier than I was when this happened, but it was recent so...
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass made me insanely angry. A puzzle in it asks you to transfer a stamp from an upside down version of a map you have to your actual map. Your map is on the bottom screen, the upside down one is on the top. That is all the information you know.
How do you figure it out?
Apparently its supposed to piss you off enough to slam your DS shut while you go search up a faq. That's exactly what you have to do; close your DS. How the heck am I supposed to know that I had to put the system in stand-by mode?

Warhawk when i was just learning to play. I would get in a plane then almost immediately get shot down and destroyed because i was a total newbie.

oh god. SOOO many moments. there are to that come to mind straight away. two Jak II levels.the first is when your supposed to blow up the krimzon guard's ammo dump at the begining of the game. there was this gay security tank that would kill me EVERY time i would make a jump for a platform. it took a week to beat and it should have only taken about 20-40 mins. then later on, there was a boss fight against baron in the test of manhood. that was fucking impossible. (also, the first paper mario's final bowser boss fight. i won out of pure luck. i lived by 2 hp. the the Elite Four on pokemon blue. then also the spider boss in Devil May Cry.)

I was ENRAGED by BioShock because i could NOT move. I found out within an hour that my 360 controller just needed batteries.Funny thing is it was when i rented the game, so i returned it for another copy of the game because i thought it was the disc.I am an IDIOT!

Oh, now I've got a story. I was playing Sonic Advance on the GBA. While raising a Chao, I was playing the first level collecting rings. I was near the end of the level with 200+ rings, and then a get shot by an enemy. I got so pissed that I smashed the handheld into my head. My head was severly cut and the screen was broken.

Call of Duty 4- Search and Destroy. I was playing with my friend when every round started I got shot in the face with a sniper. Finally I got fed up and instead of breaking their streak, I slammed the mic I was wearing into my head muliple times breaking it. I then slammed it on the floor where it fell into many pieces. I salvaged it promising myself I wouldn't do it again when the next round started, sure enough I got sniped. This time I screamed and yelled throwing my mic and stomping on it finally snapping it in half. I will never be that angry again!

Hands down Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360. Every time i would come to a boss i would have no health or healing things because i would use them all to get to the boss. I got so mad that i threw my controler across the floor and broke it. Then i got mad for breaking my controler that i threw Ninja Gaiden 2 out my window and on to the street where it was run over by a car. Problem solved!

Ninja Gaiden Black's final boss. That old bastard seems to know your every move and 2 broken Xbox 1 controllers and 2 years later, I STILL haven't beat the game. He is so ridiculously cheap, it makes me wanna fart in his mouth if he were real.

When i finally got to mile high club in cod 4 on veteran i experienced ultimate frustration. I got so tired of seeing the stupid quotes when you die and i would scream at the enimies. Then when i finally got to the part were you pistol snipe the terrorist i shot but when he went down he shot me and i had to start over. it took me two more weeks of on and off gameplay to get to the end.

You know the feeling of an old controller. You know, where buttons seem. SFIV, when you just got the game.
Screw that, an iTouch is something u should never use to post messages with. The GD back space button screws my messages up (u know, when they get stuck and delete 75% of what you wrote) and I get really mad at it.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the GameBoy Color. There was a second set of eight worlds that you ran through with Luigi, and it was so hard. I got stuck on world 3-4 and got so angry I chucked my GameBoy into my closet and hid that cartridge with all the supposed rage a ten-year-old could muster.
A close second, while not specifically relating to being angry at a game, I was so distraught after my copy of Pokemon Silver went through the wash. I had a level 99 Typhlosion and it was on the last of the elite four, He would've been level 100 with one more battle, and to this day I have never gotten any Pokemon to 100.

In GTA Vice City there is a mission where you have to defend some dude's yacht from a bunch of various bad guys and they got everything from boats, helicopters and I'm assuming a BFG5000. I tried this mission many times, at least an hour trying to beat it. After I did, I was left on a little boat and as I tried to get onto land, I fell into the water and drowned since everyone in the GTA universe has to use the kiddie pool. I lost my whole arsenal of weaponry and a bunch of my money. I was so furious by this that I turned off the game and never played it again.
In retrospect, that was kinda stupid.
A special shout out to the Water Temple in Ocarina Of Time. I spent 5 hours on your bastard ass. Rot in hell.
